General Manager - North Kingstown

We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to oversee our daily operations in North Kingstown. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established full service restaurant that offers handcrafted, gourmet pizzas, along with other creative menu items in a fun and welcoming environment for all.

 

General Manager will be responsible for:

 

  • Providing Leadership - must be a team player and role model with strong leadership skills as it relates to training and mentoring staff, and creating a positive, fun and productive working environment

  • Driving Sales – generate fresh ideas and identify local opportunities to increase sales and repeat business

  • Controlling Costs – assist with P&L, budget, inventory and ordering with a focus on eliminating waste

  • Delivering an Exceptional Experience – we pride ourselves on delivering absolute guest satisfaction

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hiring, training, motivating, evaluating and terminating personnel

  • Inspect dining room, food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas, ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times, all policies and procedures are upheld and protocols are followed for the security and safety of our guests and employees

  • Investigate and resolve issues and complaints in a timely manner and with a positive resolution

  • Oversee cleaning and maintenance of equipment and arrange for repairs, contracts and other services

  • Work closely with culinary staff, FOH, banquet personnel and marketing to plan special events, menus, promotions and other activities

  • Assist with developing a marketing strategy and implementing, advertising and promotional campaigns

  • Supervise inventories and estimate food and beverage costs; requisition and purchase as needed

  • Review and evaluate financial information such as sales and costs, monitor the budget to ensure efficient operations and that expenditures stay within budget and take any necessary corrective actions

  • Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities, as required

 

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Exceptional written and oral communications with the ability to provide clear direction to staff

  • Positive attitude, energetic, creative and a problem-solver

  • Must lead by example, motivate and foster a collaborate, team environment

  • Minimum of 3 years of restaurant management experience
